Education

Dr. Claudia S. Pinilla completed her undergraduate work at the University of Santa Clara with a B.S. in Biology. She then attended the University of California - San Francisco School of Medicine where she obtained her M.D. She interned at Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center in San Francisco and then completed her residency at the University of California, Davis Department of Ophthalmology in Sacramento in 1990.

Experience

After her residency, Dr. Pinilla joined Danville San Ramon Eye Medical where she has been treating patients for all types of eye diseases.

Professional

Dr. Pinilla is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, the California Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, the ACCMA, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is affiliated with John Muir Medical Center and San Ramon Regional Medical Center.

Personal

Dr. Pinilla is married with two children. She speaks both English and Spanish.
