Education

Dr. Janet Ko obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of California at Berkeley with a major in Molecular and Cell Biology (MCB) then continued on to get her O.D. from the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry in 2015. Dr. Ko is certified for glaucoma management and treatment. During her years in college she held various externships and internships around the Bay Area at places like the Veterans Affairs Hospital, Marin Community Clinic, Travis Air Force Base and the Alameda County Medical Center.

Experience

After graduating, Dr. Ko went to work for the MCT Vision Screening Programs as well and subsequently joined Danville San Ramon Eye Medical in 2019. Dr. Ko is conversational in Korean.
